911 Foster Pets
ABOUT US911fosterpets.com is the collaborative effort of Betsy Saul (Petfinder's founder) and Eric & Traci Theis (PetsIncredible's cofounders). Together, they wanted to create a site that helps pets in urgent need (facing euthanasia) find temporary foster homes. Many people don't realize that millions of healthy pets (including baby puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats) don't make it out of shelters simply because the facilities are overcrowded. They also don't realize you can save a life by simply fostering a pet for as little as 7 days or less. But we can fix the problem and here's how - create a pet foster revolution and find temporary homes for these guys until they are placed with another rescue group or their forever home. So, put on your cape. Become a foster hero. Their lives depend on it. Remember, we as a community drop these animals off at these facilities.... it's our responsibility to get them back out.
